Sally Dunham Ceramics

This month we have welcomed the work of British artist Sally Dunham to the Gallery. Sally gained an Honors Degree at the University of Woverhampton where she developed her unique style in ceramic work. After 14 years of being in business Sally has collectors nationwide.

Sally uses a mixture of Earthstone and Porcelain clay. Sally’s love for sculpture started at a young age when she used to spend a lot of her time creating models from fimo and fabric. She wasn’t introduced to clay until Sixth Form College in Cambridge where she quickly developed a style of her own.

Figure and animal themes have always been Sally’s main interest when it comes to sculpting. Her most recent range is titled ‘A Moment with Mister Herbert’ – a loveable character named by her 5 year old son. Every adventure of Mister Herbert depicts either a saying or a phrase. Each piece can be made to reflect any situation, hobby or career, giving them that personal touch.
